Dear Friends of the Dublin Food Pantry,
September was a remarkable month for the Dublin Food Pantry. As we observed both Hunger Awareness Month and Good Neighbor Month, we were reminded of the importance of compassion and action in our community. Hunger Awareness Month challenges us to reflect on the reality that too many families face food insecurity, while Good Neighbor Month calls us to put kindness into action. We were especially honored to be named one of the lead nonprofits by the City of Dublin during its first-ever Good Neighbor Week, a celebration that encouraged residents of all ages to step up and support their neighbors. These moments remind us that the fight against hunger is about more than food—it’s about building a stronger, more caring community.
September also gave us a night to remember at Bounty at Bridge Park. Oh, what a night! The 2025 event was filled with connection, celebration, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Thanks to the generosity of those who attended, the Pantry is able to continue providing nutritious food and essential resources to those who need it most. We are already looking ahead—mark your calendars for September 20, 2026, when we will return to Bridge Park to celebrate not only another Bounty event but also the Pantry’s 50th anniversary. It will be a milestone evening you won’t want to miss.
The spirit of giving continued through our partnership with the Dublin Irish Festival. This year, our community rallied together to set a new record: more than $16,333 donated and 19,975 pounds of food collected! These contributions make a direct impact on local families and demonstrate the power of neighbors joining forces to care for one another.
Finally, our ongoing Birthday Bags program provided families with the dignity and joy of celebrating life’s milestones. It may seem small, but these simple acts of kindness ensure that every neighbor knows they are seen, valued, and cared for.
As a nearly 30-year resident of Dublin, I could not be prouder of the compassion, generosity, and commitment to service that shines in this community. Together, we are creating a legacy of hope, kindness, and action. Thank you for helping us make a lasting impact in the fight against food insecurity.

Get Involved
In honor of Hunger Action Month and Good Neighbor Month, we will be assembling birthday party bags filled with cake mix, icing, and handmade cards for our neighbors in need.
Come celebrate this fun volunteer opportunity for kids in grades K–5 (with an adult) at the Pantry on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Let’s make every birthday a little sweeter!

How Companies Get Involved
Many Dublin companies care for their communities by supporting local charities. PDS Planning’s 40th Anniversary Campaign is a wonderful example of that commitment. PDS Planning is celebrating 40 years of thoughtful planning and lasting relationships by giving back in a meaningful way. To mark this milestone, they launched a charitable giving initiative that reflects the values they and their clients hold dear: community, compassion, and connection. We are honored to be one of the organizations chosen, with the opportunity to receive a $10,00 donation if we get enough votes.
Remember to vote daily through October 31 here. Each vote brings us closer to feeding our neighbors.

Our 50-Year Anniversary Logo
Next year marks the Dublin Food Pantry’s 50th anniversary, a milestone made possible by decades of neighbors coming together to care for one another.
To honor this moment, we are sharing a special anniversary logo that celebrates our history and the community spirit that has sustained us since 1976.
The celebration will continue at Bounty at Bridge Park on September 20, 2026, when we gather to mark both another unforgettable evening and the Pantry’s 50th anniversary.

Leave a Legacy That Nourishes Dublin
National Estate Planning Awareness Week is coming soon! Each October 20-26, it serves as a reminder to prepare for the future. A thoughtful estate plan protects your interests and your loved ones, and it can also create a legacy that supports the causes you care about.
Including the Dublin Food Pantry in your plan is a simple way to make a lasting difference in the fight against food insecurity — even in honor or memory of someone special.
