Volunteer Options
In-Pantry Volunteers:
Pantry Crew
- Volunteers need to be 16 years or older
- The Kitchen Crew: sorts food and stock the pantry refrigerators, freezers, and shelves
- The Set-up Crew: Prepare, tidy, stock and package, clean and recycle
- Customer service crew: Speaks with each customer at curbside service
- Loading/unloading deliveries or loading groceries into trunks
- Pantry General Task Crews: Tasks vary: food sorting, food packing, pantry cleaning and sorting, office tasks, accept deliveries, unload stock, break down boxes, recycling, inventory tracking, etc.
- Hours:
- Monday AM Crew – 9:00am – Noon
- Monday PM Crew – 5:00pm – 7:30pm
- Tuesday Crew – 9:30am – Noon
- Thursday AM Crew – 9:30am – 12:30pm
- Thursday PM Crew – 3:30pm – 6:30pm
Outside-of-Pantry Volunteers:
Drivers
- The transport team helps by driving to an assigned local grocery store or partner for a weekly perishable food donation pick-up and drop-off to the pantry. Please email bev@dublinfoodpantry.org to sign-up
- Some drivers are trained to drive the Dublin Food Pantry cargo van (possibly to and from Mid-Ohio Foodbank)
- Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings
Food, Fund, Essential Volunteers
- Collections of food, funds, and personal care items are always welcomed.

- Student or Adult “lift + load” volunteers (2 per shift) who can help lift/load food into trunks.
- Tuesday from 9:45am to noon
- Thursday from 3:45pm – 6:30pm
