Our partners
For over 47 years, the Dublin Food Pantry has been providing food, hygiene products, and resources to individuals and families within our community who are experiencing food insecurity. Through the years, support has come from schools, faith communities, businesses, groups, clubs, troops, teams, neighborhoods, and the City of Dublin. But there are three groups who have been - and will remain - essential to helping us fulfill our mission.
Mid-Ohio Food Collective
The Dublin Food Pantry is one of the Collective’s 680 partner agencies. As a partner agency, we are able to acquire food for free or steeply discounted prices. Area grocers connected to Dublin Food Pantry by Mid-Ohio Food Collective provide valuable perishable food donations, including frozen meats, bread and baked goods, and fresh produce. The Collective also provides client data tracking software and training, volunteer and customer resources, and operating guidelines to help our pantry run smoothly and stay in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and emergency food program guidelines.
Our volunteers
Hundreds of volunteers have steadfastly collected, sorted, and distributed donations to Dublin Food Pantry customers. These selfless individuals are a key part of the pantry’s history and vital to daily operations. With volunteers ranging in age from 18 to 85, the pantry truly is an example of "neighbors helping neighbors."
Dublin Irish Festival
The single biggest event supporting the pantry takes place on Sunday morning of the Dublin Irish Festival. Entry to the Festival is given in exchange for a food or fund donation to the pantry, and hundreds of volunteers staff the Festival entry gates to collect these donations.
