For 46 years, the Dublin Food Pantry has been providing food, hygiene products, and resources to individuals and families within our community who are experiencing food insecurity. Through the years, support has come from schools, faith communities, businesses, groups, clubs, troops, teams, neighborhoods, and the City of Dublin, but there are three groups who have been - and will remain - essential to helping us fulfill our mission.
Mid-Ohio Food Collective
The Dublin Food Pantry is one of the Collective’s 680 partner agencies, which allows for access to training and data tracking programs, as well as needed pantry items and weekly perishable food donations from area grocers.
Hundreds of volunteers have steadfastly collected, sorted, and distributed donations and are a key part of the pantry’s history and operations. With volunteers from age 18 to 85, the pantry truly is an example of "neighbors helping neighbors."
Dublin Irish Festival
The single biggest event supporting the pantry takes place on Sunday morning of the Dublin Irish Festival. Entry to the Festival is given in exchange for a food or fund donation to the pantry, and hundreds of volunteers staff the Festival entry gates to collect these donations.
Our choice pantry allows families to have a dignified shopping experience with compassionate and exemplary customer service, choosing which items they want to take home. We strive to provide high-quality and high-quantity fresh produce whenever possible.
