Volunteers Make Our Work Possible | May Newsletter

Dear Friends of the Dublin Food Pantry,

As we welcome warmer weather and a busy spring season, we continue to be grateful for the generosity and support of this community. Every volunteer hour, donation, food drive, and act of kindness helps ensure the Pantry is able to serve families across our community.

Thank you for continuing to show up for your neighbors and for being part of the work we do together.

With gratitude,

Delivering for Our Community

Our volunteer drivers help keep the Pantry running by picking up donations from partners across the community—often using their own vehicles to get the job done—to help bring fresh food to the Pantry the community we serve.

From January through April alone, they rescued more than 109,000 pounds of food from local retail partners that would have otherwise gone to waste.

A special thank you to Bev Ross for coordinating the Transport Driver Program and to June Waldo for supporting the program behind the scenes.

Volunteers of all ages help make our work possible.

Whether you are looking to volunteer as an individual, family, student, team, or community organization, there are many ways to get involved at the Pantry, and every role helps support our neighbors and strengthen our community.

Community Service Day

A big thank you to the volunteers who joined us for the Dublin Chamber of Commerce Community Service Day earlier this month.

From organizing and cleaning to helping refresh shared spaces throughout the Pantry, their efforts helped create a welcoming environment for the families, volunteers, and community members who walk through our doors each day.
