A First Look

Dublin Food Pantry Board + Steering Committee Members Tour the Pantry’s New Home

Cocktails & Construction, a special event for Dublin Food Pantry Board Members and members fundraising steering committee was held in late August at the site of the Pantry’s new home at 6608 Dublin Center Drive. Guests were invited to enjoy a first look at the new location of the Dublin Food Pantry, which will allow for a much needed expansion to serve the growing need in Dublin for those that are experiencing food insecurity.

The new building is conveniently located off Sawmill Road, which will make the pantry easily accessible for families and individuals within the City of Dublin and the Dublin City School District. The new facility will allow the Dublin Food Pantry to:

  • Expand outreach efforts
  • Partner with other local nonprofit organizations
  • Offer resources in-house tailored to the needs of the pantry clients
  • Grow fresh produce in-house
  • Allow the CHOICE pantry to greatly expand

In order to purchase and renovate the new space, the pantry has launched a $3 million comprehensive capital campaign that has already received a commitment of financial support from the City of Dublin to ensure its success.

It is easy to see from the details below that the new home of the Dublin Food Pantry will significantly impact its ability to better serve the growing number of Dublin neighbors who are in need.
We hope that you will take an opportunity to visit our new website to learn more about our #EveryoneEatsHere campaign, the growing need in Dublin, and find ways that you can help by donating, volunteering, and becoming an advocate.
