Thank you to all who donated during this record breaking BIG GIVE. More than 1,000 non profits benefitted. The bonus pool approached 2 million dollars.
Douglas F. Kridler, President and CEO of the Columbus Foundation, stated: "The Big Give was built on the premise that, by working together, we can achieve much more than we ever could alone."
The support for the BIG GIVE was impressive with donations from 48 states. The community showed their` giving spirit and support for their community. In fact, there was so much interest in this event, that systems were overloaded in the first hours. To make up for that, the event hours on Thursday expanded. The initial 11AM end time was lengthened to 6PM.
Although the BIG GIVE is over, donations can still be made:

Your support is crucial and appreciated. Dublin Food Pantry is operating at a time of high demand and high uncertainty. For 44 years we have been connecting people to nutritious food and essentials with compassion - and we continue to do so helping more than ever during the pandemic. Our anticipated fundraisers, including the Dublin Irish Festival, have been cancelled so the timing of the Big Give couldn't have been better.
Thank you for joining in this community effort and BIG thanks to the Columbus Foundation and their partners for this important opportunity to rally around the positives in our community while making a real difference.
Further, thank you to THE CANDLE LAB, DONATOS PIZZA, JENI'S, PIADA, and WHITE CASTLE for providing big giver donor perks on email receipts.
Dublin Food Pantry is powered by hundreds of volunteers. Last year we distributed more than 366,100 pounds of food and are already outpacing that number in 2020, so we can really use your help. Thank you very much for donating to help us help others.
